Yeah, I agree that the FFOX is not the end all be all of gars that some make it out to be. It is a good smoke though.

It's mine. I gave a Power Ranger to a friend and noticed the FFOXs were pluming nicely. I finally got a humidor that holds RH rock steady (thanks SP!) and all the smokes in it are starting to ploom out. Some are totally ploomed, but most are still in that dark streaky/tiger stripe pre ploom stage. You gotta know know what I'm talking about, after all, you have the ploomidor.

Ploom is just a sign that the gar has been properly cared for and is completely harmless. It's just the oils that have come to the surface. You can brush it off, or just smoke it as is. Some gars take forever to ploom, some will ploom out in a few months.

I too, agree that the Opus ain't all that, but you are correct sir, in calling it a good smoke!

Picked up a box of Diplo #2's, 3 CoRo's and 3 PSD #3 EL's from 2001 while in HK. Smoked a few of the diplos already and they rock. Smoked a CoRo on my hotel balcony in Thailand... mighta been the atmosphere, but DAYUM was it good!!

Oh... and I did NOT just jack this thread... I played terrorist and took it hostage! Sorry!

Yup, that was the day I noticed them plooming. You should've grabbed the stick in this pic. It'll still be here when you get back.

Man, Thailand??? You're right, the atmosphere could only make it better. Not, that I would have any idea what you're talkin' about. 🙂

I made a trip down to check RH and the sticks are looking good. The old Montes are only getting older. There are a few smokes with your name written all over them. One of them, freshly rolled a by a level 9 Cuban Master Torcedor.

I haven't forgotten. The list will go out soon. You and your shipmates take care bro!
