I've heard stripers and rock bass.

You might know it as a Hybrid Striper. A cross of Striper and White Bass (or Sand Bass).

Different parts of the country get different names.

That's what I'm talking about!

I smell bass poontang. And the only good bass poontang is dead bass poontang, I think.

BMW, they aren't Speckled Trout but lots of fun to catch.. Only a 30 mile drive to the lake too!!

If you can find those things schooling and feeding in a top water frenzy, that's just about some of the most exciting fishing I've ever encountered. They'll slam a Zara Spook and knock it 3 fet out of the water and then come back and pounce on it! Great stuff, but my lake is a whole hour away.LOL.

Barry, I've seen it!! My buddy was ready with a big Redfin topwater lure and caught two before I could find my zara spook!! Then the wind abruptly changed direction and they shut down. Hope to see it again soon!
