Recently finished buliding this humidor out of Walnut. Am awaiting the arrival of a Cigar Oasis II, to get the humidty level up. I hope my three coolers will fit into this as the wife is getting tired of looking at coolers. 🙂

That is awesome!

That is a great idea for a humidor, now to see how it holds against the moisture.
I'm still leaning towards the Fridgador though...

The entire inside top is all 1/2 to 3/4 sp. cedar. Before putting the cedar in I put 4 coats of laquer in and also silacone on the joints. I also would like to know how it will hold up.

Too many hours to count. I recon about 4 months working when the weather allowed. Gets a little cool in the garage at times. It was a bear at times waiting for bits and pieces to arrive so I could go on to another stage of building.

A true work of art. How many sticks do you think it will hold? Any one of us would be proud to have it in our homes much less be able to say we created it. I am impressed.

Not sure how many it will hold but I am certain not enough 🙂

The bottom section is about 12 cubic feet of space and the nine drawers that are for cigars should hold 50 cigars easily.

Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off--then, I account it high time to HERF!

Absolutely beautiful! What is that about $500 worth of walnut there? Is it solid walnut or laminate/plywood?

Solid Walnut. The only plywood is the back and that has been sealed and lined with spanish cedar.
