The main reason i use USPS is because you get free shipping supplies like boxes...tape...and labels...

And priority mail only takes 2 to 3 days and is very affordable...

What RasDas - Joe said.

It is more convenient and cheaper for me to get to the Post Office instead of UPS.

The Big Brown Truck is brown for a reason, heheheeeee!

Plus UPS lets my boxes sit in their wherehouse for a day or two before shipping them to me. For more info on that, do a search from last year.

I walk in at the post office, just a couple of minutes away. Depending on the size of the box, I usually pack it up at home. I have never had any problems shipping with them. One of the main advantages of shipping USPS is that you can send to a p.o. box. Nothing against UPS or Fed Ex at all, I just find it easier to deal with the post office.

Schmitty, create your account and store all your addies online with the USPS. You can print the labels with or without postage. I think you can even get sticky labels. I believe you have to drop them off in person. SethGekko could answer that.

Each time I'm in the post office I pick up the free supplies (3 or 4 boxes) and package them at my leisure, then after I've got em packaged I take em back to the post office and give em 4 or 5 bucks and off they go. As a matter of fact I think I need to make a run to the P.O. again just to show you how efficient it is Bill. Yeppers I do. I will wait til my CBID shipment on thurs. Look for something after that.

If you print the USPS Priority Mail label online the Delivery Confirmation is FREE and you don't need to go to the Post Office. Simply tape the label to the package and affix postage and you're set!

Check out "pickup options" from the website. . . . carrier gets an electronic notification that you have packages, and he/she will come to your door and take them when they deliver your mail. . . . use click-n-ship to print labels w/free delivery confirmation, and also order free priority mail supplies. . . . . never leave your house again. . . . that is, until you need to pay a visit to "happy ending oriental massage. . . "

HAd to go to the Sun site and manually download the software then restart and allow application Java to run in tools setting in browser and now WORKS LIKE A CHARM!

I just signed up for USPS online postage. Man, is that the sweetest setup ever! Now I don't have to go out of my way to go to the Post Office to send one stupid package! I even ordered a digital scale off of eBay (I'm addicted to eBay as well as CB...I'm so screwed!) so I can weigh packages, print the label, and throw them in the box. And they even deliver free packing supplies, to boot! One more thing I don't have to leave the house for, nevertheless to go to a store and buy the envelopes, tape, and so on! All free!

Tony,

If you saw what was working behind the counter, you'd take a trip to the P.O. as well, LOL.

But thanks for the tip.
