I had these for awhile and just kept passing overem for about a year now. They are easy to light and keep lit. For about the first 3 minutes i thought this is just another papery dissapointment. Then it started to get intresting with a little pepper.Building a little in strength, a liitle spiciness started to occur while the pepper continued.About 1/3 of the way down came a slight pleasant sweetness. finally this gar got into full swing with all of these qualities at once and a symphony of complexity was playing my song. The ash held well as did the burn.I think you could walk awawy 20 minutes and come back with no worry of this one lighting out. What a great cigar smokin experience. This one has it all and that great buzz stays with you all day.Heartily recommended an excellent smoking experience!

The Occidental Reserve HSG is very good.

It has a similar band as the regular but is maroon in color.

I did a search on Occ Res. HSG and it seems that all I found were the Havana SG by Alec Bradley, I don't know if these are the same.

Totally agaree with my NJ brother Lowman...

The Occidental Reserve HSG is a very good, under-rated smoke, that can be found here for a steal most times.

Cheers,

PT 🙂
