First let me start off by telling you what we are looking for in a veteran trader.

1. A veteran trader has a clean established trade history on the CBID boards.
2. A veteran trader has a diverse enough stash to be able to provide samplers across a reasonable spectrum of tastes and budgets.
3. A veteran trader needs to have a reasonable knowledge of cigars.

That’s it nothing real tough here most of you qualify or you wouldn’t be asking.

Now here is what we expect from a veteran trader.

1. Give more then you get.
2. Be patient with them they are newbies for a reason.
3. If you ask to be put into rotation we would like you to commit to 3 newbies.

Again that’s it no real surprises, except maybe number 3 we are asking this because it is so hard to recruit and maintain a pool of veterans and believe me the newbie pool never runs dry.

If you'll have me as a vet I would be happy to sign up for 3 tours of duty.

I want to take up a newbie status if smithbw is back!
When I got here everyone gave up on this, not that I would have had the danglies to get in. It is great to see the old regime step up for this cause. There have been several great BOTL starts here, I think it is a worthy effort and I welcome you back and hope that my drunkenness doesn't make me out the fool.
