I'm relatively new here, and I've got a question about the group leaf appreciation sessions people commonly refer to as herfs. How do these get communicated? Is it through email or posts? I live in the DFW area of TX, and I would be inteterested in learning more about these gatherings. There's a ton of knowledge on these boards, and I am infinitely ignorant in ways of cigars. I've only been smoking for about 2 years so I guess I'm also a gar newbie. Anyone in the area have any info for me?

This is a good way to start. You can also put up a post asking if anyone is from the DFW area and if they get together to herf. Or you can organize one yourself !! I'm pretty sure that there are a few guys in that area.... Or at least a few that are willing to drive a distance for a good herf !!
