rick sent a bunch o' pipes and accoutrements my way, prompting first a "not in MY livingroom" look and then a sweet smile from sara. thank you, sir! i've already started refurbing them, and they'll be gently cared for.

echo4alpha, in his extreme generosity, sent not one but 4 humidifiers with polymer beads enclosed for me to try on my formerly foamed humis. i thought the offer of beads alone was good, but this bro sent them in the form of pre-seasoned, pre-filled disks that fit and work PERFECTLY. oh, and that's not all -- the brother also sent along five primo cigars, including 2 from a certain southerly island. 😃 semper fi, bro, and a big thank you for all!

and schmitty, OpFTH officer and cbid bro extraordinaire, responded to my plea for empty boxes with 3 *nice* drew estate wooden boxes. along with that came a suh-weet looking perdomo2 torp and some goodies to pass along to OpFTH contributers. thank you very much, schmitty! btw, the gift for wife and daughter should head out today. 🙂
