First of all, I love CBID. I am however am amazed how how much people will overbid for items. Either they are very uninformed, or they suffer from a gambling mentality that doesn't allow anybody to "bet them out of the hand". In any event, they deserve the results, and we can only stand on the sidelines waiting for our time.

I'd attribute part of it to people who bid based on the posted "retail" price, not realizing - or caring - about the "CI" price, and the other portion to the naturally competitive nature of some people.

This can be witnessed also at Ebay where items will get bid up ridiculously high just because you have two boneheads who hate losing.

Those darn boneheads again!!!

Retail on the R&Js tubos is pretty resonable. But just once I'd like to snag a fiver for a steal.

I've watched about 30-40 auctions.

OK Guys, I have gotten several great wins on CI as well. Yes it happens all the time. Just not on the R&Js.

Mike nice try but 23.00 for a fiver = 46.00 for a box -check out the CI price it's less. Not paying retail is winning for below retail.

Anyone else? Lets stick to R&J tubos. Find me a win thats more than a buck or two below CI Price.

BTW - these cigars are horrible, moldy, tasteless dreg. I just like to use the tubes for my other cigars when I ship them.
