I got to thinking about all the overbidding threads and how much I love them when it suddenly dawned on me that there are not nearly enough underbidding threads.

So feel free to post here all the auctions that you wish that you had bid two more stinking dollars on (for example) because you really wanted those cigars and now someone else is smoking them, probably Xibumbbero.

OK, I guess I'll provide one sample

To ease the pain, I usually don't review the "losses"

It is so much fun to "underbid" and then mewl about not winning a 5 pack that I could get for another buck or two.....oh well, that is the bid board! LMAO

I used to have a big underbidding problem but I figured a cure.

THL's got the answer. Unfortunately, other than total insolvency, there's no easy cure for "overbidding"

Jest to even the threads of the tapestry, we could start one "Well, I bid just right"

It took me three tries over two months to buy a Sherpa Presidente five pack.

Nothing wrong with underbidding unless you really need them. Isn't that the idea of an auction anyway?? If you keep up a solid inventory this should not ever be the case.

Underbidders are in the minority on this site. It is probably the only minority group I have ever been a part of.

If you are going to bid 10 bucks on a 5 pack you could purchase at CI of 9.95, well you guys probably know the old saying " A fool and his money................".

It took me 4 months and numerous bids to win a box of LPH Black Pearl Gran Robustos at my max price of $82. CI sells for $125 and my local for $180.

Too many time I've been on the loosing end of a bid when 3 of the 5 avqailable goes for my maximum. I was just in and hour or so too early. My bid gets bounced by a late bidder and everyone else get theres for my bid limit....bwaaaa..bwwaaaa.....lol. Such is life.

Also, I can truly understand the insolvency issue. Patience is a vurtue? Patience HELL... It's time to smoke something, or is that someone?

I've been known to bid $20 for a five pack that goes in CI's store for $4.95 a stick, but that was because I already had four or five auctions won, and couldn't see paying a little more plus separate shipping for another five sticks!

What I hate, is when I just gotta have that lot, get it (albeit at a fair price), and then see it go the following week for a real nice underbid.....
