Is there a place in the account that I can choose either UPS or USPS Priority? I know that CBID ships either one or the other, but I would rather always use USPS as UPS takes forever to get anything to me.

I did the same thing USPS instead of UPS.

Customer service here is GREAT.

I hate the "big Brown" with a passion, if there is anyway I can get it either USPS or FedEX, I try to do it. Half the time UPS tries to deliver at 8-9pm, At least I am home for that I guess. USPS is always faster for me 2-3 days max. UPS left on the 17th I get it supposedly on the 23rd. Gotta Love it.

rlockwd, I just put in the exact same request with customer service earlier today and they just informed me that they updated my preferences to specify USPS as the default shipper. I experienced the same thing. UPS would take 7 or 8 days every time to California. Everything they sent by USPS I would get in 2 days. Shipped on Thursday receive on Saturday.

Just recieved an e-mail from Trish explaining the use of USPS and I went ahead and asked her to switch me also.

Fast customer service responding to my request....That is a great thing.

As far as Priority Mail, that is the one thing the PO is doing right.

OK, got the shipment today, there should be a pic of the box condition when it arrived in the pic section. Man I hate UPS, from now on it is USPS, Trish has it all set up.

Speaking of shipping, can anyone in CA tell me how long their packages take via USPS? My order shipped on the 19th and it's STILL not here (23rd!).

If it doesn't get here by tomorrow I'm raising a stink. I don't want my cigars drying out that long. 😠

Amnesiacv2, I've had four shipments via USPS, all my shipping notices were sent on a Friday and all but one was received on Saturday. The other one was received on Monday. I do the once a week, Thursday, shipment option so I'm "assuming" that it was actually sent to or picked up by the Post Office on Thursday and the notice gets emailed on Friday. In any case, way better than the 7 to 8 day UPS time.

YMMV depending on your proximity to a major city. I'm in the Bay area so it seems to be pretty consistent.

I'm in Los Angeles too. The dang city isn't THAT hard to find, it's bigger than some countries. Either the substitute mail carrier snagged my stash or the mail truck was waylaid by amish bandits coming out of the warehouse. 😃
