Hey guys, I've been smoking seriously for a little over a year now, I guess that still makes me a newbi. I have a project that I'm working on that really needs some help. I have a cigar table that I want to take all the cigar bands that I've saved in the last few months and basically glass glaze them to the surface making it not only a lot cooler to look at but in all actuallity a cigar table rather than a coffey table with a humidor on it such as my wife calls it. (oh well, maybe ya'll can relate to the wife coments)

Here's where I could use ya'lls help, I've come to the realization that I just don't have nearly enough cigar bands. CAN YOU HELP ME! If anyone has some cigar bands that they can give me for this project than e-mail me and I'll give you my address.

Nice idea, but if I were you, I'd shelve the idea for now & keep smoking. You will not get half as much satisfaction when the project is completed by using bands from cigars that "other" people smoked. JMHO.

i'm using cigar bands for my own projects -- both my own and those others have sent (dep. on the project). one thing i'd suggest is to decopage the bands to the table, starting with the outside edge, and work your way to the center. tried doing that the other way around and it looked cooler going outside-to-inside. just a tip. 🙂 good luck!

Good idea. I've done a small project & wasn't that happy with the outcome. Sounds like the voice of experience may be the way to go.
