Reminds me of a camping trip to Catalina Island. Was there for a week with my family on the windward side, Little Harbor. Never saw a bison, though we knew the island had a herd.

Last night there, just as the sun is setting, we were sitting around the fire ring. I was facing the ocean and one of my daughters had her back to the ocean. Then she says "BUF - A - LOOOOOOO" and points over my shoulder. There, about 15 feet away and looking totally unconcerned, a lone bison tramped thru our camp site.

I don't know if I'd be happy about this even if I were in an F350!!
