Well, I just received a 10 pack of what was supposed to be a Bahiba Reserve Paradiso by Graycliff Pyramid - 10-Pack Sampler WRONG !

the sent me a 10 pack of Bahiba Original Blend Series

Which is pretty much as close to a Montesino Sungrown Belicoso and it had the same crappie aftertaste as one too save your money on this one !

I'm sending the nine left back on Monday and hopefully the Bahiba Reserve Paradiso by Graycliff Pyramide

Will be a much better smoke... I can only hope

Because what came today was a BIG disappointment compared to the original Graycliff line !

hope this helps you with your bidding choices

Happy Smoke filled days to all : )"""

While I have not had the Bahiba line, I am aware that they use short filler and not the long filler they use in the Graycliff line. I was at their cigar making area of the hotel while in Nassau at a cruise stop. They even say that they made the cigar for the natives. They are not supposed to compare to the Graycliff line in quality or price.

Alaw, are you sure you are not referring to the Junkanoo

series? "Junkanoo Cigars are available only in the Bahamas and celebrate the Junkanoo Festival exclusive to the Islands."

Here is some info on the Bahiba line:

Developed by Graycliff's Avelino Lara, the Cuban-born creator of the original Cohiba cigar, the Bahiba is a blend of Brazilian, Honduran, and Nicaraguan longfill tobaccos, an Ecuadorian-grown Indonesian-seed binder finished with an Ecuadorian-grown Connecticut shade wrapper. The line is offered in four frontmarks: Churchill (7 1/2 x 50), corona (6 x 38), double robusto (6 x 50), and pyramid (6 x 52). Retail prices range from $5 to $8.
