hello i am new to this trade board. i have been smoking for a while now. my wife has placed me on cigar purchase probation. i am addicted to c-bid, i cannot help myself. all reason and logic has left me and all i have left are visions of cigars of all different makes and models that haunt me day and night. as i stated in a previous thread, she sh@&
her self when the china cabinet became a beautifully spanish cedar-lined humidor. she has also threatened to revive various charge accounts of her own. she was really pissed when she found out that our romantic vacation for two to nyc in the fall (oct) happens to be the week of ca's "big smoke". all that aside, i would like to get with some of you guys to trade cigars. i love to give, but i also love to receive. from what i have learned of some of you, you are great people to trade with. please let me know if any of you are interested in "taking me under your wing " and helping me in my crisis. i have to see at least one package a week to satisfy my addiction. this week i have received none. oh yeah, i forgot to tell my wife that the "work equipment delivery" from ups this week was my new cigar oasis 2, shhhhh! the ups and fed-ex and usps people think i am into porn or something when i get packages from "ci fulfillment". in the area where i live (alabama), that could mean alot of things........try watching jerry springer and you will probably see some of the people who live in my area. anyway, i would love to become more involved in the trades board so if any of you are interested [email protected].

It was with great relief that I read this post, for now I realize I am not alone in my burgeoning addiction. But, my case is somewhat different, though possibly worse. There is no one in my life to rein in my addiction to buying great cigars at ridiculously low prices, not that that's a bad thing. What I must confess to is being an "enabler". That's right; I've taken to hooking other people on fine smokes. The guys at work are nearly as excited as I am when they see a package from "CI FULLFILLMENT" arrive. It's gotten to the point that the UPS guy waits to see me open them. While I'm a relative novice concerning cigars, I've still managed to help others overcome their use of hideous "gas station".........I can't bring myself to call those things "cigars".
My selection continues to expand, and therein lies my problem. I'm running out of room. My humidor is the largest, and the sticks have overflowed my travel humidor, also. So, in an effort to not only lose good cigars, I'm ready to find out about trading with others. So, any help, or any suggestions would be welcome.

should have read "....humidor is NOT the largest." The smoke got in my eyes.

There is nothing you can do. It is the smoking gene that is present in many of us.

You have my permission to buy many more cigars and then trade with me.

on my last order I told CI to write "Do not deliver, customer will pick up" It didn't work! They delivered it anyway and my other half caught it. I guess I need a whole other address to send them to. LOL!

save your money. instead of buying humidors invest in coolers. Search threads for info.

Tell her they are client gifts...

(Doe's that make them tax deductible???)

You have 2 choices. Lose the habit or the wife.

Mine coexist peacefully. 🙂 God bless the woman!
