i must say, i never thought offering up some diamond crowns for trade would ever cause this much commotion. however, the freakshow we saw last night and early this morning was the funniest thing i have ever witnessed on this board.

Slim is a fine BOTL and good at looking and protecting other people from unsuspecting prey. He does stick his neck out and gets grief for it at times but sadly thats the way of the internet these days. People will write things that they wouldn't have the guts to say to someone's face. Pretty sad state we live in with all this great technology at times.

... regardless of what some might say, I have been on these foums at CigarBid since they started them, and I really do try to take the majorities best intrests to heart, members and admin alike. I've seen how these characters have worked many forums over the years ...

And sure ... I've gone over the edge at times, and sure, I've pushed a few peoples 'buttons', but it was never meant to personally harm anyone ... maybe just just open their eyes a little to a different perspective.

I apologize if there are those who didn't think it was my place, including those at CB who yanked the two threads, 'bringing to light' this certain individuals past dealings ... but when it comes to the good people here, I just couldn't stand by and let 'who knows how many' people here get burned by him.

Heck, if you go into trades with your eyes open ... then you know what to expect. Otherwise, your are a sitting duck for these scam artists.

Many of these guys are really good at it too ... and will trade quite well in the beginning, to gain your confidence ...

... and then, it's 'wham, bam ... thank you ma'am', and you will come out on the short end, wondering just what the heck had happened.

It's truly a shame that someone whose trading ethics have been challenged would stoop to a purposeful effort to crash this site by overloading the server. I don't know if the individual in question has been banned from this site, but I think he should be. His actions have always spoken louder than his words -- and God knows he posted thousands of pages of repetitive words here out of sheer spite on the deleted threads. Anyone who stands up for him after that episode has earned my contempt. (He earned my contempt long before that through his other behavior.)

i never had bad dealings with him prior. However, since his actions here (i missed this mornings meltdown - would like details if someone can email me at smitty0128forums-cigars @ yahoo.com) I have different feelings.

I have since removed him from my fantasy leagues and pools on yahoo etc. I wish to not have any dealings with this guy from this point on.

regardless if he is guilty! his immature actions of late makes him the tops on my list of undesirables

I agree with Schmitty about the latest meltdown by one individual. I too have not had any bad issues with this one individual, but then who says the next dealing with him, I might of been cussing myself out for not listening earlier. We will never know and can only hope this individual seeks professional help.
I can only send my good wishes to him in getting straightened out.
