Why must you have to login every time you do anything on Cbid? Not much of a computer geek but sure that some cookies could be created to keep me from typing so much.

The CBid site is a third party solution, so a change is unlikely. Basically the password field is getting cleared in Internet Explorer.

I have found the Mozilla (Firefox) browser handles the password better on this site. If you store you password in Firefox then you just have to click the password field then your username and it fills it in for you automagcially.

Will have to try that. Also, It would be nice to be able to SHIP your items at your discretion. If I dont plan on bidding any time soon, and I have my shipping method 'once a week' I should be able to have my items sent early. Just my opinion.

Click on Tools in your Internet Explorer Bar and then scroll down and click Internet Options. In the new window click on the "Content" Tab and then select Auto Complete button under Personal Information. In the new window select the "Username and Passwords on Forms" checkbox. Now you will be promted to save usernames and passwords when there is an option. You usually have to start typing the username and a scroll down pop-up wioll appear. At this time if you select the username, the password will be filled in.

Hope that makes sense.

What blackfoot said...

CBid doesn't want the hassel of someone bidding on something they didn't want... I think the option to have to enter every time keeps the person awake to what they are doing...

now for the forum.. I only have to log in once unless I close the browser.. and when opened all I have to do is enter password it saves my username auto...passwords are something I like to keep to myself..
