I am no expert on this subject so I will stick with what I think I know. Sharon hates Arafat's guts and controls an army. Bad for Arafat. Has Arafat broken more peace treaties than the US did with the indians or what? I remember seeing him shaking hands with numerous Israeli Prime Ministers and kissing them too! Of course he says he doesn't control the bombers. A guy on the radio the other day said the Israelis should move heavy construction gear to the dome of the rock and threaten to tear it down if there is one more suicide bombing. It's crazy but, it is food for thought. Do the Palestinians have any valid points?

imagine you are in israel going to starbucks and an arab walks in with no intent other than having his afternoon latte. what must go through your mind about this man. can you imagine the b*lls it takes for an israeli just to have a cup of coffee. if arafat wants to be a martyr, all he has to do is strap on a bomb belt like he has children and young girls doing and walk outside his office.

Yes he is a terrorist, yes he will be alive. Now, what the Isrealis need to do is clear out as many terrorist cells as possible., start moving their citizens out of the settlements in the West Bank and Gaza, start dismantling the "refugee camps" and disperse the Palestinians living there, help set up a viable economy, then pull out to let the Palestinians have their own country. The Dome of the Rock or Temple Mount or whatever you call it should be completely destroyed (maybe by Hindu or atheist or someother relegions workers)and the remaining dust should be scattered (people shouldn't loose their lives for "holy sites", "holy sites" should be destroyed to save people) Jeruseleum should be split. A population that is working and has enough to provide for their families is less likely to be discontent. Post is a little disjointed but I'm sure you guys get my jist. Just my perspective, that will never come to pass.

I disagree with barry. I think that the Israelis should round up all the Palestinians, destroy all of their towns, villages and holy sites, and evict them from their country. Obviously, the Palestinians are incapable of living in peace with the Jewish people, so get rid of them. If any of the Arab countries in the region think that they can do anything about it, they can ask Egypt what happens when you mess with Israel. How many gears does an Egyptian tank have?
