If you are in Little Havana I suggest you try one of the Padron Fumas for yourself, however I wouldn't go out of my way to smoke one ...

I'm not sure how easy these are to find, I haven't seen much of them for qutie some time ...

... and the reviews I've read on the blind tastings on them haven't been all that great. In fact, they've been really, REALLY bad ...

Slim, they're being released for sale by Padron with the regular line and the new 6000 this year for all to enjoy.

I got some under the assumption they were made from cuttings from all lines,including the Anniversario. I was most disapointed in these. Very little flavor if any. I have had these aging for over a year,so I may revist these and try again. X

They have re-released them. They are available in boxes of 25 & 50. According to Padron they are the cuttings from the regular series line. Same Padron tobacco just short filler. I've smoked a few and they're not bad. Just too skinny for my tastes. I like the Executives & 4000's.

I haven't had them for quite some time, but the shop that is sending me my '6000 Maddies' emailed me and said that he was going to throw a few in the box for me to try (oh goody) ...

... maybe I'll have to give the 'new' release another try.

But from what I rememeber, and all the reviews I have read on them ... they are pure and simple 'dog-rockets', not worth wasting your $$$ on, ESPECIALLY $40 !!!
