BTW, one day when her father was in town, we had parked and were walking towards the Kingdome to see a Mariners game (IIRC). Now, my ex mother-in-law was a real sweetheart. No kidding. However, my ex father-in-law, per my ex, was not terribly fond of lawyers (he went through a messy divorce which, as far as I could tell, was pretty much his own damned fault).

This guy didn't have a full head of hair when I knew him. Definitely going bald. As we were walking through downtown Seattle, we passed by an "Oriental Rug Store". I looked over at my then wife, her Japanese father about two steps ahead of us, and she quickly gave me one of those "if you make a joke about that, I will literally kill you" looks.

I damned near died of a heart attack trying to hold it in.
