Lot more freedom in a flyover state, same with a flyover forum. This is the only forum I've ever been a member of...


Side note, I've driven down Whitehouse Road. It's in Johnson County, Kentucky. Rough area in places.8-[

So long story short my wife is from that county. We have driven all over that area, and in that county. Visited Loretta Lynn's birthplace...

Years ago, we had long discussions about issues. Minimum wage, gun control, abortion, who should be the next Dog Governor. We discussed the issues, not the people or their party.

Now, people further their political agenda by shouting down any discussion or descending voice. Meanness is the point, and we accept and expect bigotry. No more discussion – because “those people” hate America. And we have endless grade school insults to prove it. Now it is purely "them or us" - and what can you say about that?

And I come here and see some of the most egregious pushing of genuinely stupid lies – because they suit the agenda. “Vaccines never prevent disease, the Surgeon General is a criminal because Covid never happened, Trump is innocent, Guns are NEVER the problem, They're eating the dogs, and my personal fav; the poor people are to blame – for everything.

So, what can you say to the school yard, and why would you want to?
