I belong to a five member cigar buying group. (Five Fogeys Who Like Stogies). Each of us puts up $100 each month and then shop smart and buy 4 to 6 boxes which we then split up. Most months we end up with between 25 - 35 sticks each. This month we went for quality over quantity and bought some fairly expensive new releases. Each of us got 21 - 22 sticks this month.
On either side... the small corona is the new Cusano 10
Here are the rest from top to bottom and left to right.
Casa Torano Natural Torpedo / Torano Tribute '04 Maduro Torpedo
Padron 6000 Maduro Torpedo / Arturo Fuente Hemmingway Classic
The Cusano 10 is a brand new release and is supposed to have a definate Cuban taste profile. The Casa Torano and the Torano Tribute are both supposed to be hefty and full bodied as is the new Padron 6000. The AF Hemingway is a meticulously constructed cigar which is medium bodied in profile and has volumes of spicy richness.
Our members Terry and Zed shopped hard and long and were able to get all of the above for a paltry $120/each or $600. A spectacular price when you realize that the MSRP on the five boxes we got was well over $800 and well over $700 at regular internet prices. All five club members are also members of HP.
CBid is one of strongest resources. 🙂
Cheers,
grond
