I saw other sites Spain, Sweden, Canada selling them for as much as $500 I paid $350 14 bucks a stick. here in Ca. with the tax at the local you pay more for a Honduran or Dominican.

edgh , I hope they were grown in Cuba. I got them in Canada. I was just comparing them to the prices for top shelf Dominican and Hondurans at the local retail smoke shops here in California. The tax on tobacco is like 50% here.

Yes they are from south of miami. Sorry its just hard to tell from the pic the size from that angle. Kind of gave the look of a DC. But yes Monte C EL's are a very nice smoke. I've got a about half a box of them left. Enjoy!!

I have smoked 4 of them so far and they taste awesome! but 2 of them at the start got a hole in the side about a inch down burned right through. I never seen that happen. they seem to be rolled a little lose on the ends. May be they are like women you just have to start out real slow and patient get them going very slowly and when there ready have at, you will be rewarded! So Hog and Charlie take note. They taste better the further in I mean down you get!
