Even tho I am a die hard Viking fan and Packer hater, he is still one of my favorite players of all time. Even when I'm cussing him when he beats the Vikes with one of his "how in the hell did he squeeze that in there" throws, I gotta give him props. He just loves to play and one of the toughest bastards ever.

Yes, he certianly is one of the most dedicated and talented QBs to play the game. I usually watch GB games because of his emotion and effort.

As a raider fan, I gained tremendous respect for him as I watched him gear up and play the raiders the day after his father died. 200 consecutive starts and none more impressive than that.

I am a diehard Jet fan... But I would love to see B. Favre win the big one again!

"Co-worker of mine went to lunch with Chris Havel (GB Press Gazette Sports writer & co-author of Brett's book) yesterday. Havel says that he wouldn't be surprised if Sunday was Brett's last game in Lambeau (unless we get a home game in the playoffs). His wife's health, and his daughter being away in
Mississippi for school are playing heavily on his mind.

Brett also DOES NOT want to have a goodbye Brett Favre day, or a seasonfor that matter. When he leaves he wants it to be quietly. So he won't EVER say..."this is going to be my last season"... he'll make the call when a season is over. Unless he comes to the decision mid-season or something.

Hopefully we'll have more games to cheer for Brett in Lambeau, but Sunday MAY have been his last. A lot will be determined upon how this season (and Brett) finishes out."

With Slowik as the defensive coordinator, I would not blame him if he did choose to retire. I do not know why Sherman would think his buddy Slowik would succeed here in Green Bay after failing so miseribly everywhere else he has been.
