Lying, stealing, and cheating is fine and dandy provided you claim you do it all for:

1. the children
2. the poor
3. the elderly
4. the working man

THAT I could go for!

So many levels of elected office. Not all are "prosperous", or have any benefits. I know this for sure, as an elected official in my village I receive $1000 per year before taxes. No benefits of any kind other than doing what I feel is best for the village and its residents.

That's why I am a politician.
