Why does Obama want an 'Internet Kill Switch?

IYes, it is difficult for Americans to understand anything that infringes our right to communicate freely. Very, very difficult.- and, I think that is a major part of the issue.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to read too much about the kill-switch bill and the full reasoning behind it and against it, but if things get so bad that it is being used to thwart a revolution instead of a cyber attack, I am not so sure I will even want to be around...

The cybersecurity bill is not about an "internet kill switch". It is about Federal seizure of privately owned "critical infrastructure". It is electronics Martial Law without legal or congressional oversight. Wartime powers without a war.
