...is where losers go to get their news and information.

It's also where losers go to end their careers.

I swear to God you can actually hear the sound of someone scraping the bottom of the barrel in the background when Rachel Maddow starts talking. It's sad.

So is she gay or what?

According to Rick's list, had she been heterosexual she'd be just another reporter.

I had initially dismissed the OP because it's tough to call a well known broadcaster "bottom of the barrel".
But now that Rick has enlightened us, it's obvious that her sexual persuasion is the reason for her success.

she is a lesbian and has said so.

what does that have to do with her skill level as a political reporter.

Rick,
The list of achievements that you provided shows no less than 8 awards that Maddow wouldn not have earned if she were straight.
9 if you include the Smith College award. (Smith is known locally for the almost-mandatory lesbianism that takes place during the students time at school. They are known as SLUGs, which stands for Smith Lesbians Until Graduation.)

Without those achievements, she'd be plenty talented.
With them, she's just a talented lesbian.

Shame on you for taking that angle...
