i dont think they are dumb, i think they believe in the good will of man. We have a lefty at my office. He believes we have the duty to care for people medically and financially. I disagree. I hate to be a ****** but services cost money. if you cant pay, you dont get those services. we have millions on welfare, HUD, etc. These people not only have no intention of getting on their own two feet but DONT WANT TO! they have everything they need. One of the meter checkers in my city told a story how he was at a mans home who was on the utility assistance program, he stopped in to check on him and the guy had the heat at 85 degrees in mid winter! who of us keeps our heat that high when we have to pay for it? hell, i turn my down when i leave hte house each day! welfare families are breeding kids for the government paycheck faster than rabbits. Its a cycle or pace that cant continue much longer. I am afraid we are refusing to see the consequences of allowing this to continue so we will let it go till it falls off the cliff. the correction will be rough, difficult and prolonged i am sad to say.
