Poll Question: Will Trump run for president, and will he win?

It seems Trump is sounding more serious about running for president, and my guess is that he will, we'll see.

I hope so. Him, Bachmann, Palin, Huckabee, the pizza guy and the boring one everyone forgets from MN on a debate stage! OMG, who can out crazy each other! Romney will come off as the big stiff, but try to be a little more crazy because he's going to be attacked by all of them. Such great entertainment. Classic stuff. Can't wait.

Sad that Obama is just republican light though. Oh well.

On the Daily Show this week they said that the leading Republican candidate is still Hillary Clinton wearing a fake mustache.

That is highly accurate and funny as well.

If you aren't already under the Obama Cone of Protection, get there. This gravy train is not stopping!

He really couldn't be any worse than what we have now! Trump would be a change up and that's what we need in the white house!

If he runs, barring an unforeseen/unconventional alternative arising from the heap, I will vote for him.

I'll vote for him simply because he is a businessman. That is what we need.

Why? Governing is not a business.

FuzzNJ wrote:

No, but running a business well requires good "governing" (negotiating, budgeting, generating positive PR, raising revenues, etc.).
Most of he dullards in power are self-serving & certain they're above the fray (not accountable to the taxpayer who pays their bills).

The stupid thoughts from people that Obama was a good leader got us into this mess! The people that voted for him are to blame and those that are not standing up and speaking out against what he has been doing!

The government is nothing but greedy bastids and we need something to throw a wrench in their system! If you believe that someone else can do a better job then so be it. I just want to see the government stop being the crap they are and take out the trash that is in there right now!

My previously posted reasons as to why I support the oft abrasively DIRECT, comb-overed Trump:

1. successful businessman who knows how to negotiate (future trade agreements w/countries like China, India...);
2. overall pro-union but knows how to keep costs down so that it's a win-win as opposed to just a win for the unions;
3. anti gay "marriage";
4. not interested in nation- building or foreign intervention (let the Europeans/Asians/Muslims foot the bill & get more involved);
5. acknowledges the muslim terrorist problem (and quiet acceptance by the "peaceful" muslim majority) & how they unabashedly despise us as they take our dollars;
6. wants many if not all military bases abroad closed & have soldiers stationed on our borders (illegals, dug trafficking, etc.);
7. believes in lower taxes;
8. still wants to help the unfortunate, who through no fault of their own, are down on their luck;
9. great taste in beautiful women;
10. wants to see Obama's actual birth certificate- thinks Obama was probably born in USA but may have something to hide (religion: islam?);
11. straight talking;
12. pro life (changed from pro choice/abortion).

I would love to vote in this poll...but I will not at this point!

I like the idea of a bold, plain spoken sucessful business man running our country. However, much like Ross Perot, whom I mistakenly voted for, Trump could serve as a spoiler and we could find ourselves in a position where the vote is again split and we end up with a second or third choice running our country.

I will give it a little more time.
