your posts always give me a laugh. you should coin that phrase, left wing whine machine!
i took time to read the article. i see what he is saying. he is using lynching as a figure of speech. all candidates go through it, however you wont see a white candidate using that term and neither should he IMO. but it follows the same principle that it is OK for a rapper or black person to use the n word but then they get offended when a white person says it. I dont call myself names and wouldnt want anyone else calling me names lol. but hey its become acceptable so moving along.......
He is just saying that if he were to run against obama, it would take the race factor out of the equation. thats all.
the race factor was played on both sides from what i saw. Dems said Repubs didnt vote for obama because he is black and repubs said dems voted for him because is IS black/white guilt etc. bottom line is this, both parties voted the same way they always do. We had a repub prez for 8 years who dragged us into a bunch of wars no one really wanted plus gas prices were high and the economy was in the tank so a dem won the election. it was nothing to do with race either way. i think for most everyone, race/gender is an issue of the past. Sure there may be isolated incidents but i honestly believe for the majority of people, it doesnt cross their mind when making decisions these days.
