Why does every post in this forum end up being a bash between left and right. I mean seriously, this was posted in humor by the man himself (Rick). Yet, still it has turned into a witch hunt for his head.

Jekyl, please don't try to come to Rick's aid. He gets in deep enough by himself, without carrying your weight too. In my opinion alot of your comments hender the cause more than help. Frankly they make "our side" an easy target to some comments, which based on your post I'd have to agree with. "A man who is prepared for trouble is more dangerous than a man who goes looking for it". I whole heartedly believe Rick prepares for the battles he chooses. Simply because he always addresses each counterpoint, with logic and thought. Instead of just spouting out more venom.

Your statements are quite true...all the Presidents
were doing something. It's being talked about in a different thread now, how Jefferson was taking heat way back then. I collect old newspapers all the way back to the 1700's and I can tell you from reading, that old Tom was taking heat for taking his slave Sally to France with him!! He wasn't even President yet!
The media is every where you turn today...you can't get away from it, and for that reason we all have to be careful...not just public figures, but even Joe Citizen. You never know if or when you're being filmed or watched. For that reason our public figures owe it to us to be careful also...and while they're serving the public they should show some restraint.
When the President gets caught having high school sex in the oval office, I can tell you for sure, grade school and high school kids alike, take notice. They stop what they're doing to read newspapers, and watch the news and talk shows on TV, because they will hear things that weren't talked about on TV before. When can you remember oral sex being openly discussed in public. Come on Rick you're no spring chicken...you been around the block a few times.
We were all paying attention...some in disbslief and others saw nothing wrong with it...but we were all paying attention!!
