I have a Client that supplies the country clubs were I have a business and he started me on cigars about a year ago, now we trade services. This was the latest trade plus about 6 assorted Toranos not shown. The first two carbon copy are opus x and the next two are Patagas if I recall correctly . I always tell him the carbon copys are good. The next two one Romeo y julieta ISOM,( he does a little on the side) and the Deseo that has some cuban filler I guess. The next three are the ones I would like to know what you guys think before I burn them. Graycliff Avelino Lara, I noticed Cbid sent me a email for a 4 pack for 27.50 on some Graycliff's I think out of a hotel in the Bahamas. The next is a The Griffin's I know nothing about and the next one Maxim's De Paris I know nothing about.The last is The Brick who knows on that one also. I just thought it might be interesting what any one had to say. I always look forward to his visits as I never know what he will bring.

the others I don't have a clue, I do not smoke them... have once many moons ago and moved up to bolder, medium bodied cigars as I recall the graycliffs and griffins to be pretty lame in flavors... JMO and recollection...
and the Brick I've never seen before something local??

Hog you are probably right about the Padron or Partagas. But I like them. I will have him refresh my memory next time I see him, if I can remember to, The Brick who knows.

I've got a couple or maybe just one of the 3rd from the right with the big M on it?? haven't smoked either and I think they were gifted to me or sent through a bomb or long time ago box pass?? anyways haven't smoked it so really couldn't say LOL I just recognize the band...

I see a couple of Deseo's in the mix too ... those are some pretty decent smokes, IMO ...

And yes, the Brick on the far right IS a bundled Toraño product ...

I have tried the Maxim de Paris. I use it for a yard gar and have sent numerous bundles to the good guys in the big sand box across the sea. They burn even and are on the mild side. Couldn't tell you about the others. Have been wanting to try the Griffins. If my memory serves me, it is made in the Davidoff factory. Hope this helps.

The Griffins is an outstanding mild cigar! That is the only problem with it, mild!~
They make a reserve or something like that and Slimboli (good man) sent me one and it was nutty, flavorful and more robust than the milder ones! In fact, it was a damn great cigar!
Maxium's are not that good, but make a suitable yard cigar!

it's been at least 2 yrs if not more since I've had a griffin or a graycliff... but as I can recall these were both even too mild and one sided even for my tastes???

now I've got to dig some of these up (from my dog-rocket stash) and compair them once again.. don't want to toss something that may have changed itself over time LMAO!!!

Griffins are too mild for me as well, but they are well made and smoke pretty good for a mild gar!

The cigar Charlie is speaking of is NOT the regular Griffin (which IS a very mild smoke ... it was Griffin's Special XX 20th Anniversary Edition, a more spicy, medium-bodied cigar that has a second band (black) below the normal white Griffin's band with two X's overlapping one another, one in gold, one in white and the words "Special Edition" ... 3,000 boxes of these cigars were made, with only 1,000 of them sold in the US market ...
