Picked these up on Saturday....most of which i'd never had. The Delirium and Ayinger Oktoberfest are the only ones I've tried...and as you can see, the Ayinger is the one I bought the most of. It's most excellent. Of course, it didn't hurt that it was the cheapest either.

Cheers! 🍺 Beer.JPG

Since I purchased..i've had the Saison Dupont (pretty good, but not amazing), the Orval (very good), the Westmalle Trappist (outeffinstanding), the Delirium Tremens (good, not great)...

And tonight I cracked into the St. Bernadus. The Tripel was good..but wouldn't buy again, but the Abt 12 that i'm drinking now.......amazing.

Looking forward to the Duvel as well Wheel.....not too much bad press out there on that one.

This is what happens when you take your Smartphone to the beer store.....you spend too much time, and $$ there...lol.

I'd take the Orval first, as that beer is very underrated IMO. The Westmalle second. Love trappist ales.

Nice selection.

I only tried one bottle of the Orval, and it was after the Saison and one other....so next time I'll give that one a try first, on a clean palate. I do recall it having some unique flavors going on though.

OK let's get the ball rolling....Why is beer better than women?

Beer doesn't care if you have another beer.

Beer doesn't care if you have two beers at the same time.

Beer doesn't care if you come home with beer on your breath.

Kyle, I haven't tried the St Bernard.. or the Air Dog.. but you got about 4 of my top 5 or so belguim ales....

I know there bit difference between say the Duval and the Deleriums.. but, I lump all belgium in 1 category cause it's my favorite style.. a wheat.. a tripple..double.. any...That said...

Tremens

Orval

Saison

Duvel

Westmalle

that my order... would not drink in that order if I had all.. and all will be poured into my Delerium Tremens glass...... love them pink elephants!

Yeah...there's a "one of these things is not like the others" goin' on in this pic (two if ya count the Oktoberfest)...

But the Hair of the Dog Blue Dot is a Double IPA along the same vein of Pliny the Elder and Stone Ruination...except brewed locally. It holds it own against those two IMO, which is saying something, as they're both stellar Double IPAs.
