WOW! What a game. The Patriots did go all the way and defeated the Cats in one of the best Super Bowls ever. As a Pats fan it was a nail biter but I new in my heart they would pull a win out. After all they did all year. Fifteen wins in a row. Maybe now the Patriots will get the respect they earned. If this was like most Super Bowls the highlight would have been Janet Jackson's right one showing it's cute self but instead it was Adam V winning field goal. What a game and what a team.

Do you believe now?

GO PATS!!!

See you at the parade on Tuesday........

My head still hurts....

I have an enormous amount of respect for the Panthers. They showed a lot of patience and were able to take the lead late in the game.

Of course, the Patriots were not to be denied, and Tom Brady is the leader of this millenium's best team, and a dynasty in the making.

I hope Janet Jackson gets arrested.

Rule?!?

They won the game, but daggone it sure as hell wasn't a blowout. The Patriots had to fight to win this one against a very hungry young team. The Panthers hung in there and showed that they were for real. Kudos to them for winning, but they didn't own anybody's ass!

Hmmmm,

I can't understand, how any man, could complain about a tittie shot, unless his wife, or SO, was in the room.

Great game on both sides !!

when the team you want to go all the way...doesn't , well....i kinda lost interest . so watching it ..not caring "who" won .... it was good ! and i have too admit that when the panthers were coming back into the game and then got the lead.....i was pulling for them ! because the panthers did indeed play one hell of a game ! not to take anything away from the champions but since it was looking like the patriots would probably win it...and then carolina came back strong......the determination !!! i wish that last field goal had "missed" !! i'd liked to have seen how an overtime would play out ! ! ! tie game at that point...no winners or loosers ! hmmm ! the "what if" question we'll never know ??? !!! carolina ......?? maybe ??

Dave, I'm not against the "tittie shot", except that it was not the appropriate forum.

We had some young kids watching and it simply isn't right.

Besides, Janet is not on my top ten list for boobs I'd want to see.

If it were that chick who sang before the game, then I'd be happy to own the video!

They will likely press charges against the guy who streaked onto the field in the third quarter. But I doubt you'll see similar charges brought up against Janet.

The silver lining may be the fact that the NFL may actually reconsider these half-time mistakes and keep the game as the main attraction. Extending the half time to allow these production numbers is a joke, and it ruins the flow of the game.

And how cheesy was that astronaut on the fake moon?

The only thing I like about pro football is that on any given fall Sunday I get to see multi-millionaires beat the hell out of each other!!!!!

So, let me ask you this: how much loyalty lies with the NE players for the city of Boston and the state of Mass.? The power of the mighty green-back!

Mercenaries! That is all the Pro athlete is!

It's all about money....they don't give a hairy rats @ss about the citizens of Mass. Trust me, I know how the game works.

Sonny

Sad but true about all pro sports! Today it is commerce and bucks in the pocket, but we still pull for "our" teams...such as it is!

Why should professional athletes be any different than other folks?

If your chosen profession leads you to an opportunity which takes you away from your home state, why is that considered evil only for athletes?

Let's face it, none of the players on the current Patriots roster are originally from Massachusetts. Why then, do you look down your nose at them for following the highest paying entity within their profession?

Instead, let's look at the character of the individuals. Most of the players have some sort of charity in their name, and many of those organizations are indeed within the New England region.

Don't let jealousy dictate your opinion.

tg, it is not jealous, trust me......though I would love the money. I am a college sports fan, because the teams generally are comprised of young men/women that represent the school and location with pride as the motivator, not money. Now, before you fart the obvious comeback, I am aware that college athletics has been tainted, but it still maintains some form of pagentry.
