My future son-in-law shot this bear while bow hunting in Orange County, New York. The bear was 450 lbs. and will stand almost 7 feet tall on his hind legs when he's stuffed. He actually has a picture of it from earlier in the day on this trail camera that is mounted near his tree stand.
It's ballsy killing a large bear with a bow. He must of been up a tree stand and close to his target.

Yes he was in his tree stand. He hit an artery and found him less then a 100 yards away.
