My guess is that Rick is likening this whole mess (killing of the hoodie fella or perhaps this thread or both) to a South American carnival featuring the ludicrous yet entertaining Brazilian, fruit hat wearing entertainer, Carmen Miranda.

Other than that, I'm stumped & will dial 911 for further assistance now.[gonzo]

I think that's a pretty good assessment. Or, maybe he really meant "No Miranda Rights? No chicken soup."
Either way, I, for one, enjoy Rick's posts.

Well like Anderson pointed out...if there was no crime then you can't arrest people...even under citizen's arrest.

Probably not, all for the targeted audience (look over his shoulder at the very friendly faces for proof!) he was trying to reach all 30 to 40,000 people by his account!

No, I don't. I stand by my earlier assessment of them both. They're floating turds that won't go down the sewer no matter how many times you flush them. Perhaps you could find a case where either of them were actually ACCURATE and if that countered the score for those of us keeping track at home with the "play along" version.

Even though the Martin family doesn't want them around...they're still there with their agenda helping the black man.

i have tried to read most of the posts here, skipping the junk of course. it is sad the media is distorting so many facts and furthermore putting up incorrect information.

Rfenst, as you have more knowledge and experience, given the current known evidence/testimony, what is your legal opinion? i understand the situation as follows, feel free to correct:

Neighborhood has had 8 robberies in the past 15 months (reported by neighbor)
T was staying with his dad's fiancee in the same neighborhood as Z
T went to the gas station for a snack (talking to GF on phone)
Z was on his way to the store when he say T walking
Z called 911, tried to follow T against operators orders (T's girlfriend said she told him to run) by her account, he put his hoodie on to cover his face and ran.
Z lost T and walked back to his truck
T confronted Z, fight ensued
Z suffered broken nose from punches from T and a gash on the back of his head from having his head smashed on the sidewalk
Z says he was calling for help, at some point he pulled his firearm and shot T
Witnesses claim they immediately run out
Officers arrive, hold Z at gunpoint, police report states that Z complied with all verbal commands and was disarmed, handcuffed and put in cruiser. he was treated for injuries and transported to the police station for questioning. detectives interviewed him and released him

ABC has video from the police station when they brought in Zimmerman. No broken nose, no scratches, no laceration on the back of his head.
