Bought a 5-pack of these 4 - 5 years ago. I think I mailed one away, and never smoked one...until now. I think I stayed away from them due to all the talk of how strong they were. Yep. It can pack a punch if you're not ready for it. It came from a small humidor I tend to neglect so it was a little dry, but still good. cigar JdN Antano (Medium).JPG

Those are great, with rest they smooth out really nice. Have a box that I am not gonna open for a couple more years.

Agreed; with rest, they tend to become more smooth. The richness stays, and they still pack a punch, but they become even more enjoyable.

The JdNA lancero is a bit spicier, and still a full bodied cigar, but not quite as strong as some of the others in the line. Ever since Jon worked with the rollers at JdN a few years nack, the draws have been getting better, but sometimes a few cigars with tight draws still manage to work their way into boxes. I haven't had any that were unsmokeable, just occasionally I get one that is harder to draw on than it should be.

Thanks TG, sounds like I might have to grab that box. I like the spice and the strength makes it sound like these would be just as good without the rest time.
