I usually smoke on our balcony but sometimes I bring a stool to the terrace when it's not too windy. This is from 15 stories up looking out to the Atlantic. We're in San Juan Puerto Rico about a mile and a half from the ocean. We're planning on buying a little outside bar to set up out here later this week.

Oh, and that's my wife's tomato plant growing in half of a used Jack Daniels whisky barrel.

That looks like a great spot. Much nicer then my unfinished garage in the dead of winter.

i can smell the alto grande coffee from here.

puerta rican alto grande is my favorite coffee and with a monte #5, life is glorious.

Alto Grande, I'll have to try that. I very rarely drink coffee but I think it would be interesting to try some local beans.

Ever since moving here a little over a year ago, I've found that I really enjoy trying different rums. Any rum lovers out there?

try bacardi reserva 8 años añejo. the best out there, and for coffee buy the beans and grind them when you are going to make the coffee, you'll notice a big difference in flavor.
