While I support Walker as governor, my relief really has nothing to do with unions, partisanism, end of the world, or any of the other noise.

I am relieved because the recall of a lawfully elected official for anything other than gross misconduct is an affront and a threat to our democratic republic system.

Exactly. I understand they had the recall set up even before Walker took office. Therefore, it could not have been his actions in office, but the poor sportsmanship of the losing side.

Just like the lawyers were at the ready to demand a recount for Barrett if he hadn't got his tail whipped. SOP for these idiots.

Yeah, the republicans were ready to accept any result without question. No recount.

Bwahahaha

Never a dull moment here on cbid.

Wanggaard's campaign manager Justin Phillips issued his own statement, hinting at a recount:

"We owe it to all of Senator Wanggaard's supporters and the voters of Wisconsin
to thoroughly examine the election and its results and act accordingly once we have all of the information."

Republican senator who lost last night.

Seriously people.

It was weird, on Good Morning Joe it said Barrett outspent Walker by like 3:1, but then other sources say Walker outspent Barret 8:1 up to 10:1, 3/4 of that money coming from out of state. I wonder which it is. It's hard to believe we've come to the point where state elections cost $40 million.

Tweoi I agree lots of conflicting stuff

Heard unions raises 17mil for Barrett and also that a BIG donor for Walker donated 400k.

Strange.

All the out of state money that goes into elections is just plain wrong IMO.

I thought you were serious earlier.

There was no recall in progress before Walker took the oath of office. just a bunch of bunk.

you would expect with all this information available 24/7 in seconds people would be less inclined to believe rumors and conspiracies, but obviously not. If anything it's worse.

Of course there was.
