I used to live in a duplex and my neighbor had two wolves in her back yard. We'd get effed up and sit out back when they were howling at the moon. It was pretty unbelievable.

Those dang things were huge too. The male would come over to the fence to be petted and when he would stand on his back legs to have his chest scratched he was taller than I was. And I'm 6'1"

I promised the elderly couple across from my other property that when they passed, I would take their wolf/malamute hybrid. He was huge, but an excellent house dog, believe it or not. Solid White, and yes in his prime, (I'm 6', well, was until the disc slipped, hehe), he could put his front paws on my shoulder and look me in the eye. We would play/fight and if you weren't braced, he would take you down, easily.

100% real wolf.... he lives less than a half mile from me and I didn't know... he was rescued [more or less) from one of the local church/ youth group things that were keeping him in a 4' x 4' cage.... poor puppy-dog... 😞





he didn't eat my dog of even bark when he approached us at the lake.. wouln't let me get close but I didn't really try either... when the owner was found and got him on a leash he let others pet him.... 😟

I wish I had got some better pics... wasn't really thinking about it at the time.... at this point he was getting a little nervous.... when I first saw him he was as happy as can be running around with his ears straight up looking really curious and stuff.. 😟

NOONE broke in.
It was tough being on call, though..you had to park REAL close to the shop door, and bolt for it...cuz Wolfie liked to hone his fading stalk skills at night on the sad f#ck who had to get up at 3am to go plunger Mrs. Frazier's toilet. NOT a fun feeling, fumbling for the lock, hearing the low growl as he charged from the parked truck area. Once I got through and closed the door just as he slammed into it. Knocked some of the glass out. Boss tried to stick ME with the costs, saying I slammed the door...until he viewed the security footage.
They put Wolfie on a chain after that, poor beast.
