Can any of you guys ID this bird. I've got five of them that have made a home in my area. (hope the pic comes out)

Definitely a raptor. I think it is a red-tailed hawk. Is the breast plate white? Most common raptor in the US.

Yes the feathers on the chest are an off white. We used to have an big problem with stay cats and oposums..... not any more. It's pretty coool to see all five of them sitting on my fence. I go out to refill the bird bath and I can get within 15 feet of them before they move.

Hard to tell exactly, It appears to be young so it does not have normal plumage. Seeing the surroundings I would go more with the Hawk, Falcons are a speed hunter usually more in open spaces.
We have them nesting here on some of the buildings, they have set up live-cams, pretty cool.

For some reason we now have hawks in my neighborhood. We also have way fewer mice.

we've owned our house since 1952 and only recently have I seen hawks. They're beautiful and now they're plentiful. I'm putting up a 20 ft. T topped pole in the back yard to see if it will attract one.

That pole and a trip to the kitty shelter should keep them around.

I'm gonna say a very young Red Tail....if he hangs around another month or 2 it'll be quite obvious.Beautiful raptors....we have them in very large numbers around here....Strangely our quail population is dwindling.
