That's actually a great example of why I think it WASN'T the company.

CBid wouldn't do that because it wouldn't be a worthwhile effort.
But a proponent of CBid would.

You and jizzy-jazz website believe it was chick themselves, so you perpetuate it as if it's true.

In the end, who cares? It has NOTHING to do with the OUTRAGEOUS hypocrisy and blatant PC favoritism being used by people in power in these big cities.
This should make you sick, but because you agree with them politically you'd rather cry about a fake facebook account.

I'll say one thing: You're filling in for fuzzy pretty good!

I believe you misinterpreted my statement. I said "hilarious". It's a hilariously stupid attempt, not something I think is bad or good. Someone (I'm assuming CFA, but willing to accept that someone else may have done it) was stupid enough to think no one would try looking any deeper. I think it's unlikely a CFA supporter wouldn't just use their own account and lie.

But either way, the mayor can only make statements about this. I haven't defended either group as to whether what they're doing is "right" because I haven't made a decision myself. I don't even know how I'd feel if a mayor tried banning a fast food restaurant owned by the aryan brotherhood.... it's a very interesting question.

who would'a thought that the ACLU would be backing (sort of) the Christian views expressed by a very public Christian business owner. what is this world coming to. does this mean I can no longer hate on the ACLU?

It has been pointed out numerous times that the ACLU defends everyone's civil liberties.

Conservatives constantly complain that the ACLU doesn't try to defend them. Well, here you go.

My only problem with it is that if he had said he thought blacks should still be slaves, everyone would be up in arms. Since it was the queers however, he is the one that is being targeted and not the gay people.

SammyETN wrote:

Not even close.
The guy didn't even say anything bad about gay people. He simply said that he believed in a traditional family. You can argue what that means, and if he's a jerk for saying it, but you can't deny that he has the right to do it.

If he said that gay people should be jailed or something, then THAT would be akin to your slavery comment.

Don't cloud the issue on purpose.
The guy has his beliefs.

And if you think he should be banned, then you know damned well that so should most churches including my Roman Catholic but especially the Muslim mosques.

Let's cut it out.
You and he won't ever have tea together. Is that such a loss?
Will hurting his business make him think more highly of the gay community and those who support it?

I have to admit, having you around posting as an actual, real life gay person has been interesting. It gives some insight into what meaning some individuals are putting behind their statements.
