This whole thread is being side tracked by both sides. Here's the fact. Elected government officials are denying Chick-fil-A the right to open restaurants in their cities, due to the owner's OPINION of what constitutes marriage. If some restaurant owner's religion held that marriage should be between humans and sheep, would it be correct for government officials to deny him the right to open restaurants in their cities? Of course not. That would be against the law. Yet it seems any more in our society, that everyone's opinions is valid, unless those opinions which happen to be traditional Christian, in which case they must be punished and crushed. This is nothing more then religious persecution. What these Mayors are doing is blatantly illegal, yet being applauded by the same folks who wouldn’t stand for this kind of persecution of owners with non-Christian religious/spiritual/secular beliefs. Can’t have it both ways, bud.
