thought I would share.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those Who made him their president."

Great, another forum which is exacting in its grammar, syntax and common sense requirements. Just what we need.

Bingo.

Also:

"On the question of liberty, as a principle, we are not what we have been. When we were the political slaves of King George, and wanted to be free, we called the maxim that "all men are created equal" a self evident truth; but now when we have grown fat, and have lost all dread of being slaves ourselves, we have become so greedy to be masters that we call the same maxim "a self evident lie." - Abraham Lincoln

OP,

In the history of man, every civilization/nation/people have a rise and inevitable fall.

But, the more important matter is your answer to this question: How exactly do you propose we correct the problem you complain of?

As the heading says, this was posted in another forum. It is not my opinion. But a good way to correct the 'problem' is for the Republic to revert back to the principles of the Founders.

As I have stated in the past, the Constitution is well over 200 years old. It ain't broke so don't try to fix it and, this is for all you liberals out there, please don't wipe your ass with it. It is subject to interpretation but the corrupt way the libs are interpreting it has all the Founding Fathers rolling in their graves.

That's an oxymoron! It seems like what you are saying by posting that comment is that although the Constitution is subject to interpretation, such interpretation must fall within the guidelines you believe are appropriate- namely those of the founding fathers as you interpret their beliefs.

And, those who would even consider voting for Obama or "lib"shouldn't be allowed to vote at all. Perhaps, should just go back to a time when the standard for being allowed to vote is that one need to be a white, Anglo-Saxon, Christian, property-owning male.

(Come on- Just admit that what you posted represents your opinion!)

I am an optimist. I think that we have 50 states that are united in their desires to make this a better country, and by doing so to help boost the worldwide standard of living.

It's those pesky other 7 states that are driving us to ruin.
