The state of PA requires hunters to wear a ridiculous amount of "blaze orange" so that we don't get mistaken for deer by other hunters.

We do not, however, enforce any sort of measure that would prevent idiots from hunting. Go figure.

Every year, on the first day of deer season, I count the shots that I hear prior to sunrise. These are almost invariably mistake shots made while loading guns. Last year - 25.

Andy, Are you planning on going to the sportsman's show in Altoona. Actually there are two. One this weekend and one next weekend. Not sure how close you are to Altoona. Anyway, I have a booth at both shows. Look me up if you go.

Also, I got a little turned off on outdoor shows after going to a few at the Pittsburgh Expo; alot of guides but not many deals or new technology/gear. I got Cabelas right across the WV border now, which is like an outdoor show I suppose.

What will you be doing there??

I will be selling cigars. (my handle) Your right, Cabelas is the way to go and they don't charge you to get in. My Jan. show near Philadelphia pretty much got snowed out so we are heading west to make up for it. Altoona is about 4 1/2 hour drive.
