so my response is to put a blade on the tractor and start dragging dirt out to the edge, also fill a small wash that came back from the same treatment a year or so ago, only then the wash was waist deep in places. This round will cure that problem for good

I'm actually in the band that is worse, ya'll finally got a little break, I'm still waiting.......


Course parts of TX look like this every few years, this only happens every 15-30 yrs or so, here. Sometimes longer.

I was working on riverboats in 98-99 when the OH river was at some record lows, along with the Cumberland.
Caused us to break tow apart in the lake on one trip, punched a biiig hole in one hold tank for a supertanker barge we were pushing. That was a wild ride, had to do some things the Coast Guard and Corps of Engineers would have shut us down for. Company out of existence, now I can tell the stories. I had to jump in the river just a mile below the Lock on the Cumberland river at night in late November (BBRRRRRRRR) just to get a line tied to a tree so we could start rigging it all back together

How are the underground wells holding up in your area?

ok, so far, most are already at the 200 to 400' level, we are barely that above sea level in most places, and sitting on springs and sandy underground aquifers

The lake here is about 3 1/2' low.... happens every summer tho... 😟
