I thought it looked pretty good, but I also played around with a few ideas, and think a set of 4 with a really large band in the center of a tile would look good as well

Thanks, guys,

gonna have to try my hand at a few.

Street, I'm still wondering actually on how to make sure that sucker doesn't sweat through the tile and cork, may just require a matching tray to keep them on.

She usually sips the wine or booze, LOL

Just a start, thanks for the good words.... gotta work on different finishes to see which is actually best , functionally.

She loves that pinterest stuff, I think the 1st ones I saw were on the asylum

rather trade them around here, ebay is a pain to me, done a little selling there,

me I'm a cash and barter type.

I think I can figger out how to put them on ALMOST anything.

The ashtray would require multiple layers, then a tough poly sealer.

Give's me some ideas and projects for the next few months/winter. She started this, so I will keep her busy with these and set her to looking for ashtrays, that may be the tougher item as cigar ashtrays are not common, but a good excuse to hit up her facebook friends or the flea market and yard sales.
