I don't link to video's during work hours, but is the Obama Phone in the link an iPhone or other type of smart phone? Or is it just a standard cell phone?

Because if it's a smart phone, who's paying the for the data plan?

And Regan's plan provided telephones for their basic necessity. Smart phones do NOT fit in that category, so to equate the two is disingenuous at best.

Telecom Corporations - WIN (they receive your cash)
Welfare Rats - WIN (they receive "free" phones....paid for by YOU)
Taxpayer/Ratepayer - LOSE (cuz YOU get to pick up the tab) Look at your phone bill for the Universal Fee charge. That is it. I pay $4.18 per month for this program. How about you?

You can now get an app that shows your welfare voucher account as a QR code (one of them square bar codes) so you can just have them scan your phone to have the gubmut pay for your free stuff.

Sounds good until you find out they want 99 cents for the app!
