Is Obama getting beat up in this debate?

Not beat up, but Romney is certainly coming off as far more upbeat. He has proclaimed positions much closer to Obama's as part of a move to the middle. Good strategy. But, Obama could to capitalize on this- too much agreement...
Obama needs to make more discrete points and shorter sound bites. He's been dull tonight and has talked too long, but is improving as the debate goes on- but not enough to win tonight.
This is all about style and Romney is coming off more dynamic. But, he needs to watch out for talking over the moderator and not arguing when it is time to stop talking.
Romney is clearly winning by technical debate scoring and in the minds of the public by enough that people will watch the second debate. He will get a deserved bump in the polls from tonight, but how big and how long will it last?
Will Obama take voice cuts of Romney's claims and try to ridicule him with something to the effect of: "He say he's for X, but what is his plan?"
The next month is going to become very interesting!
(Too bad both still suck.)
