I remember hearing him in VA back then...he was really funny then. The humor was pushing it to the edge without going over. Now that he's unbridled? After the 1st week on satellite radio I was done. I can't even count how many times he uttered the F bomb, brought in lezbo strippers and pornstars...whoopie! The show is a joke and there are lots of people funnier and smarter than him.

His movie "Private Parts" chronicled his metoric rise from obscurity. It was really funny too, especially the Director's Cut where he pops up and does some explaining...funny...on the way to the top he forgot who and what he was...Too bad it cost him his marriage. They seemed happy together.

^ I remember her. The affair/scandal w/the 700 Club preacher (Bakker? married to Tammi Faye)

I wasn't about to pay for his brand of entertainment.
Even on "free radio" it was getting old.

He had his day & I hope that the 100 million was worth relative anonymity.

Douche Bag, hasn't been funny or controversial for many many years.

If you like cringe humor try The O&A Show. Opie and Anthony much funnier.

I still think he is funny and listen to him on the drive in. I just like when they all argue.

years ago we had a dude on the air in Tulsa that must have thought nobody around here knew who Howard was... everything he did seemed to be a bad impersonation of Howard.. he even tried to talk like him... one day he got fired and I was very happy.... several months ago or maybe close to a year they brought him back... I quit listening to that station in da mornings..... 😟

^ I guess we outgrew that kind of childish humor. Our avatars testify to that.

I was a fan of The Drew & Mike Show on 101 WRIF..BABY!

They made Opie and Anthony sound like retards. They made Stern look like he was trying to hard. They made Mancow seem amateurish.

Could never figure out why they weren't nationally syndicated.:-k

They really should have been, they were that damn good.

nailed it. petty entertaining for a good while but just got so predictable with his line of questioning that he took the shock out of it through repetition. I used to tell friends that worshipped him that if the Queen of England was a guest, his first question would be the same as for anyone else..."hey Queen, do you do a n a l?"

Come to think of it, that would be pretty funny. But you get the point.
